According to KCNA, the North Korean Academy of defense Sciences conducted a hypersonic missile test on the 5th.

On the same day, relevant leading cadres of the Ministry of munitions industry of the Central Committee of the Korean workers' Party and the Department of national defense science observed the test firing. The report pointed out that the continuous success of the hypersonic missile department is of great strategic significance. The Central Committee of the Korean workers' Party expressed satisfaction with the test results and congratulated the relevant national defense scientific research departments.

It is reported that the North Korean Academy of defense Sciences reconfirmed the flight control performance and stability of the missile in the active section through the test launch. After the missile was launched, it hit the target 700 kilometers away without deviation.
